{"id":196,"date":"2019-05-27T21:11:20","date_gmt":"2019-05-27T21:11:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/openfirecamping.com\/?p=196"},"modified":"2019-05-27T21:11:20","modified_gmt":"2019-05-27T21:11:20","slug":"eberle-winery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/openfirecamping.com\/?p=196","title":{"rendered":"Eberle Winery"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We  weren&#8217;t actually  planning on attending the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Eberle wine dinner (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/pasowine.com\/member-event\/dinner-in-the-caves-at-eberle-winery-for-zin-fest\/\" target=\"_blank\">Eberle wine dinner<\/a>, but since we were visiting Paso Robles that weekend we decided to go at the last minute. It was also the regional &#8220;Zin Fest&#8221; weekend, so there were plenty of reasons to be in Paso Robles &#8211; and at Eberle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/openfirecamping.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/eberle-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-241\" srcset=\"https:\/\/openfirecamping.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/eberle-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/openfirecamping.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/eberle-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/openfirecamping.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/eberle-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The winery itself is on the north side of Highway 46, just outside Paso Robles in California. The grounds are very nice, with a lovely view of the gently rolling hills and far enough from the highway that you don&#8217;t notice the traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The wine dinner was preceded by a sampling of wines paired with some delicious hors d&#8217;ouevres like wild boar salami and smoked salmon.  Downstairs in the cellar, chef Justin Monson had prepared an excellent 5 course dinner including scallops and pork tenderloin, which were paired very well with the wines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/openfirecamping.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/20190315_190648-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-205\" srcset=\"https:\/\/openfirecamping.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/20190315_190648-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/openfirecamping.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/20190315_190648-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/openfirecamping.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/20190315_190648-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We weren&#8217;t planning to join the wine club, but after dinner we decided to sign up and bought half a case of wine too.
