Ok, so this doesn’t really follow our attempts at a sophisticated theme of haute cuisine, but sometimes you just need a good solid fried breakfast. For example, the morning after a strenuous day of hot-tubs, massage and wine tasting at Avila Beach… 😉
Ingredients
- Frozen hash browns
- Eggs
- Vegan Sausage
- Hot sauce
- Olive oil (or butter)
- Salt, pepper, etc.
Method
Add hash browns to hot oiled skillet and fry for a few minutes.
Add vegan sausage to skillet and fry those too. I assume non-vegan sausages would work just as well…
Add eggs to skillet and cook them to your preference – sunny-side, over-easy etc. Mine always end up scrambled, but that’s more of an accident than a conscious decision.
Serve it up with a good hot sauce.
